Willawaw Journal was successfully launched to a full house at the Old World Deli on Saturday, May 6th, 2017. Readers Peter Sears, Tammy Robacker, Jade Rosina McCutcheon, Merridawn Duckler, Doug Stone, and Rachel Barton entertained a very upbeat and receptive crowd.
Special thanks to Ted Cox for opening this venue to poetry. Thanks to the photographer, Edward Louie. Thanks, also, to Jeanette Hardison for managing the book table with short notice. We bought books, ate great food (–check out the brownies!), and listened to the fine work of the poets in the company of friends. It was a deeply satisfying manifestation of the support and positive energy behind the Willawaw Journal. The Editors thank you all!
